VETRI-CINE is a scientifically
formulated supplement for horses of all breeds. DMG is an intricate part of
animal and human metabolism and in biochemical terms may be called an
intermediary metabolite. It is produced in mammalian cells from choline and
betaine catabolism. The DMG produced may be involved in various enzymatic
reactions or be used to produce a number of secondary metabolites such as
sarcosine glycine and serine. Glucine functions as an important inhibitory
neurotransmitter of the central nervous system. Serine is used to produce
certain a high-energy phosphate molecule used in muscle tissue and in the
central nervous system.
DMG is an anti-stress nutrient and ergogenic food supplement. It
helps to improve endurance and recovery from heavy training or racing by
reducing lactic acid build up during exercise in race-horses.

DMG AND TRANSMETHYLATION |
|
DMG may also be used to
produce a number of one carbon units that can be incorporated in the formation
of methionine from homocysteine. Methionine is used to produce S-Adinosylmethionine
(SAM), the active transmethylating agent in the body. Vitamins, hormones,
neurotransmitters enzymes nucleic acids (RNA, DNA) and antibodies depend upon
the transfer of methyl groups to complete their resynthesis function in the
body. |
